Created under the prompt “Crossing Boundaries”, this was part of an accepted application to Ryerson University’s Image Arts program (Bailey chose to study Media Production instead).
‘Hamartia’ - 2017
It takes a falling out with her best friend for Oli to self-reflect on the flippant way she views the world and the people around her.
An extra credit assignment for Grade 12 English class, centering around a concept related to many readings over the semester: the word “hamartia”, meaning a fatal flaw that leads to one’s downfall.
‘The Workshop’ (Iroquois Ridge High School Annual CommCo Christmas Video) - 2016
As a project for Grade 12 Communications Technology class, Bailey was enlisted to co-direct, co-produce, co-write and edit the annual school Christmas Video to air on the last day of classes at the holiday assembly. Bailey enlisted the help of crew members, cast actors, and together, the small team spent a semester creating this full-length holiday parody of ‘The Office’ titled ‘The Workshop’.
“Start The Car” IKEA Commercial Recreation - 2016
A shot for shot recreation of the iconic IKEA summer sale event commercial, created as part of a project for a communication technology class.
This submission placed 1st at the 2017 Eddies Film Festival, an awards ceremony for student films from Halton, in the recreation category.

A girl attempts to come out of the closet to her close friend with a series of euphemisms. It doesn’t go exactly as planned.
